◌ Aroma

The nose leads with candied dark fruit and deep caramel notes from a year of rum cask aging, supported by soft vanilla and oak undertones. Pilsner malt contributes a subtle toasted-bread foundation beneath the dominant fruit-forward character. Noble Tettnanger and Cascade hops add only restrained herbal and citrus whispers, allowing the cask influence to dominate.

◐ Taste

The palate enters with rich caramel sweetness tempered by a gentle bitter backbone of 35 IBU. Mid-palate develops layers of dark stone fruit, rum-soaked raisins, and warm caramel malt, building a full, velvety body that coats smoothly. The alcohol presence (11% ABV) is integrated but perceptible, adding a subtle warming spice that lingers into the finish.
