Hana

Tap to rate

Wheat is joined by hand-zested organic red grapefruit and orange peel, coriander and kaffir lime leaves, fermented with a special yeast. The aroma is mellow with banana, citrus and flowers, and the finish is slightly spicy. Bevog has only brewed this witbier a few times, and it is the style that once inspired Vasja Golar to start brewing.

Serve at 5–8°C

Serve cold to preserve the delicate citrus and spice aromas. Too warm and the yeast esters become heavy — too cold and the coriander disappears.

Witbier glass

The tall, slender wheat beer glass holds the full 50cl pour and shows off the hazy golden colour. The wide mouth lets citrus and spice aromas drift upward freely.

Best consumed fresh. Citrus and spice notes fade after 3–4 months. Drink within 6 months of packaging.
