Festbier

Tap to rate

Malty aromas, a long-lasting fullness and a quiet hop bitterness define Festbier. It is brewed at 13.4° original gravity and reaches 5.5% ABV. Hacklberg has brewed in Passau since at least 1618; after the 1912 modernisation, two copper brew kettles of 28,000 litres each arrived by ship from Ulm. In 1897 the cathedral chapter of Passau bought the brewery.
