◌ Aroma

The nose is dominated by stone fruit and tropical character, with prominent peach and pineapple notes layered over subtle mango and passionfruit. English hops—Harlequin, Fuggles, and Olicana—deliver these aromatics without aggressive herbalism, allowing a soft biscuity undertone from the Maris Otter, Cara, and oat malts to provide grounding warmth. The overall impression is balanced and inviting rather than assertive.

◐ Taste

The palate enters smooth and moderately bitter, with the session strength allowing the hop flavour to shine without overwhelming the malt foundation. Mid-palate reveals breadiness and a gentle tropical sweetness reminiscent of the aroma, while a crisp, clean bitterness builds steadily toward the swallow. The oat malt contributes a velvety texture that softens the 36 IBU into a refined, refreshing package.

◑ Finish

The finish is medium in length, lingering with a dry hop bitterness that complements rather than dominates. A faint memory of peach and bread notes fades cleanly, leaving the palate refreshed and ready for the next sip.

Serve well-chilled. Session IPAs are at their best cold — the lower ABV means less warmth to balance the hops.

Tulip glass

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.

Drink fresh. Session IPAs are brewed to be consumed young — the hops are at their best now.
