Brewed the Anglo-Saxon way, this top-fermented stout pairs mainly British hops with malted and unmalted grains, a short mash and a warm, short fermentation. It tastes sweet, with a light hint of coffee in the finish. The foam differs from Czech beers – compact and ring-forming – and the bitterness is lower. Brewed at 20° original gravity at the family brewery near Zvíkov.
