Beers similar to Alcatraz

hopIQ found 10 beers that share Alcatraz's hoppy and fruity character. Light, fresh and pale, this imperial brut IPA carries gooseberry and white wine notes. Brut here means not only dry but brutal, as the brewery puts it, and the very fully fermented beer is lively with bubbles, almost like champagne. It is brewed with Nelson Sauvin hops, rice and glucoamylase, and the brewery jokes that it belongs on Alcatraz rather than among people.
