hopIQ found 10 beers with the same dry and hoppy character as Seisiún. Named after the Irish seisiún, an informal pub gathering for music and stories, this session IPA was first brewed as a lighter option for beer festivals. Mandarina Bavaria, Citra, Amarillo and Simcoe hops sit on Irish pale malt and Carapils. Bright yellow with a frothy white head, it smells of fresh hoppy citrus with light malt notes. Pink grapefruit and fresh lime zest lead the palate, with a crisp hop bitterness, a medium-light body and a clean, dry finish. Ranked by flavour match rather than popularity.
