Beers similar to Lapatt Porter

hopIQ found 10 beers that share Lapatt Porter's roasted and chocolate character. A robust porter returning after a long gap. Roasted malt leads with dark chocolate, coffee and a dry, char-edged bitterness, while darker caramel malt fills in behind with toffee and a raisin note. The body is medium full and smooth rather than heavy. Hop bitterness stays in support of the roast, and the finish is dry, roasty and long, the chocolate outlasting the coffee.
