Deep dark brown to nearly black in color, with excellent opacity and clarity characteristic of a well-crafted porter. A dense, tan head forms with good retention, indicative of proper carbonation and malt backbone. The beer presents an inviting visual that immediately signals its roasted character.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with prominent roasted malt and dark chocolate aromas, complemented by subtle coffee notes and a hint of dark fruit undertones. Clean fermentation character allows the malt-forward profile to shine without yeast esters dominating. A touch of caramel sweetness rounds out the aromatic profile.

◐ Taste

The palate delivers a smooth, medium-bodied experience with well-integrated roasted grain flavors and dark chocolate notes. Coffee and subtle caramel sweetness develop in the mid-palate, creating complexity without overwhelming the drinker. Moderate 28 IBU bitterness provides balance without harshness, allowing the malt profile to remain the focal point.
