The conditioning period has produced a smooth, refined clarity within the dark liquid itself.

The nose opens with ripe dark cherry fruit, more pronounced and complex than the standard Porter, layered beneath roasted malt and subtle cocoa notes. A gentle warmth from the elevated ABV sits in the background, while the extended conditioning has allowed secondary notes of dark chocolate and a whisper of dried fruit to emerge. Hop presence is restrained, offering only a faint earthy undertone to balance the fruit and roast.

Entry is smooth and full-bodied, with sweet cherry flavors immediately apparent against a dry roasted malt backbone. The mid-palate develops a pleasant interplay between the fruit's natural sweetness and subtle bitter cocoa, while the 6.5% ABV adds gentle warmth and body without hot alcohol notes. Bitterness is moderate and well-integrated, neither sharp nor dominant, allowing the fruit character to remain central.
