Deep garnet-black in the glass with minimal light transmission, characteristic of a 50 SRM imperial stout. A dense, tan head settles to a thin collar, leaving substantial lacing down the glass wall. Carbonation is moderate and restrained, appropriate to the beer's weight and warming alcohol content.

◌ Aroma

Roasted barley and dark chocolate dominate immediately, with pronounced coffee notes emerging as the beer opens. Beneath lies a subtle sweetness from the Malz and hints of dark cherry, while the high ABV contributes a gentle warming alcohol presence without harshness.

◐ Geschmack

The palate enters with bold roasted malt and bitter cocoa, building into a rich, full-bodied mid-palate where chocolate sweetness balances against 65 IBUs of restrained bitterness. Coffee tannins emerge alongside dark fruit complexity; the warming alcohol integrates smoothly rather than dominates, supporting the creamy mouthfeel throughout.

The finish is long and warming, with roasted notes and subtle coffee bitterness persisting in the aftertaste. Alcohol warmth lingers gently on the palate without sharpness.
