Cold Kingdom presents a pale straw colour with pronounced haze from suspended yeast and grain matter. The head is generous and persistent, clinging to the glass with fine Schaumkleiden. Carbonation is evident without being aggressive, creating a soft, inviting visual presence.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with bright citrus and stone fruit notes—lime zest, peach skin, and subtle watermelon—lifted by Motueka's herbaceous character and El Dorado's tropical undertones. Citra adds a floral-citric dimension without dominating. Rolled and porridge oats introduce a soft, creamy cereal backdrop that grounds the hop aromatics.

Entry is soft and approachable, with the oat foundation creating a rich, full mouthfeel. Mid-palate delivers the promised stone fruit and citrus granita flavours—juicy and refreshing without harsh edges. Bitterness sits at a balanced 50 IBU, adding definition without astringency; the finish is dry and clean.
