Kocour Tom Cat

◎ Aussehen

Tom Cat presents a pale golden hue with excellent clarity and a fine white head that builds readily and clings to the glass with good retention. The carbonation is lively and persistent, showing a steady stream of tiny bubbles that maintain the foam structure throughout the glass. The overall presentation is clean and inviting, characteristic of a well-executed pale ale despite its alcohol-free designation.

◌ Aroma

The nose is immediately dominated by noble hop aromatics, with pronounced herbal and citrus notes that leap from the glass. A gentle breadiness from the malt base provides subtle foundation without overwhelming the vibrant hop character. The aroma is fresh and crisp, with no yeasty or fermentation-derived esters—just clean, straightforward hop-forward expression.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens with a brisk, clean entry and immediate hop bitterness that defines the beer's character. Mid-palate brings layered citrus and herbal notes that complement rather than mask the assertive 40 IBU bitterness. The finish is dry and crisp, with minimal sweetness, allowing the hop bitterness to linger pleasantly without harshness or astringency.

◑ Abgang

The aftertaste is short to medium in length, with the bitterness fading gracefully to leave the palate clean and ready for the next sip. No cloying residue or alcohol warmth—just a refreshing, drying sensation.
