Pours an intense, opaque black with minimal light transmission. A dense, dark tan head forms and clings to the glass with good retention, leaving distinct lacing on each sip. The beer displays lively carbonation throughout, evident in a steady stream of fine bubbles rising through the body.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with prominent coffee and dark chocolate, creating a rich, roasted foundation. Beneath these primary notes lie deeper roast and malt character, with subtle spice adding complexity. The alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated, contributing to the overall aromatic depth without dominating.

◐ Geschmack

The palate leads with pronounced sweetness balanced by substantial roast character that emerges mid-palate. Coffee and dark chocolate flavors dominate, followed by a warming spice that adds dimension to the core malt body. The 45 IBU bitterness is restrained, allowing the malt sweetness and roast to remain in the foreground while providing structural support.

The finish is long and warming, with lingering coffee and dark chocolate notes transitioning to a subtle dry roast character. The alcohol warmth persists pleasantly into the aftertaste, reinforcing the beer's substantial 8.1% ABV without harshness.
