Janis presents a pale golden hue with pronounced cloudiness throughout the glass, characteristic of the New England IPA style. The dense, creamy head builds quickly and clings to the glass with fine, persistent lacing. Vigorous carbonation drives the haze while maintaining excellent visual clarity of the suspended yeast particles.

The nose leads with bright citrus notes—lemon zest and mandarin peel—layered over tropical stone fruit and subtle peach. Mosaic and Mandarina hops contribute floral undertones and a clean, herbal backbone without harsh grassiness. Soft malt presence supports the hops, while the yeast remains delicately integrated, allowing the fruit-forward character to dominate.

The palate opens with juicy citrus and stone fruit sweetness that builds through the mid-palate, showcasing the synergy of Mosaic and Mandarina hop selections. Moderate bitterness at 50 IBUs provides structure without overwhelming the fruit character. The 8% ABV remains well-concealed behind a full, creamy mouthfeel and subtle fruity sweetness that carries the beer forward.
