◌ Aroma

The nose opens with intense, wine-like character dominated by dark cherry fruit—tart and rich—alongside secondary notes of aged oak and vanilla that speak to its extended time in wood. Beneath these lies a subtle funky undertone, the signature Brett character of a mature lambic, woven seamlessly with the fruit. The overall impression is of a complex, evolving aromatics that shifts between vinous elegance and earthy complexity.

◐ Geschmack

The palate enters soft and round, the cherry fruit expressing itself with both ripe sweetness and tart acidity in equal measure. Mid-palate unfolds with dry oakiness and a gentle funky fermentation character that balances against the fruit's natural sugars, creating a wine-like mouthfeel. The finish trails into a restrained dryness without aggressive bitterness, the IBU of 10 merely framing rather than dominating.

◑ Abgang

The aftertaste settles into a soft, lingering conclusion—cherry, oak, and vanilla notes fade gradually against a subtle funky dryness. This is a beer built for extended cellaring, with the structure to evolve and harmonize over years.
