Livewire presents a pale golden hue with excellent clarity and a fine, persistent white head that clings to the glass with good retention. The carbonation is brisk and well-integrated, creating steady streams of bubbles that maintain the foam structure throughout the drinking experience.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with prominent resinous and piney hop character from the Cascade and Centennial varieties, followed by bright citrus notes from Amarillo and Mosaic. Beneath the assertive hop profile lies a clean, understated Maris Otter malt base that provides subtle sweetness and a touch of wheat grain without competing for attention.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is bold and hop-driven, with resinous and bitter notes establishing themselves immediately across the palate. Mid-palate reveals layered citrus and pine character balanced against a gentle, grainy malt sweetness from the torrefied wheat and dextrin, creating the energy between malt and hop the brewery intended. The bitterness is firm and sustained without harshness, finishing dry with lingering resin and pine.

The finish is dry and enduring, with resinous hop bitterness holding the palate through the aftertaste. A faint grainy sweetness recedes slowly, leaving a clean, slightly astringent sensation characteristic of West Coast hop-forward brewing.
