Light golden in color with a subtle haze that catches the light. The head forms quickly and maintains a fine Schaumkleiden around the glass rim. Bright carbonation is evident throughout, giving the beer a lively, well-defined presence.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with assertive herbal and resinous hop character—Ahtanum and Chinook contribute pine and floral notes, while Centennial adds a crisp citrus element. Beneath the hop-forward profile, a subtle sweetness from the Maris Otter malt base emerges on closer inspection, grounding the composition without overshadowing the hops.

◐ Geschmack

The palate enters with a clean, malt-driven sweetness that quickly yields to pronounced bitterness as the hop character unfolds across the midpalate. Pine, citrus, and subtle floral notes dance alongside the bitterness, while the underlying malt provides balance and prevents the beer from becoming harsh. The finish remains crisp and dry, leaving a lingering hop bite.

The aftertaste is clean and moderately long, with persistent piney and citrus hop notes fading gradually. A gentle malt sweetness lingers beneath, making for a refreshing, well-resolved conclusion.
