Deep black color with an opaque, impenetrable body that allows no light to pass through. A dense, creamy tan head forms and persists admirably, indicative of the beer's full body and rich malt composition. Minimal carbonation is evident, appropriate for the style.

◌ Aroma

The nose is dominated by rich espresso and cold-brew coffee aromatics, layered with dark chocolate and subtle molasses sweetness. Underlying notes of roasted grain and dark fruit emerge, with a whisper of warming alcohol that doesn't overpower the delicate balance of adjuncts and roast.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens with bold roasted and coffee-forward flavors, followed by a seamless integration of dark chocolate and dark fruit notes through the mid-palate. The 65 IBU bitterness is well-integrated and balanced against the rich malt sweetness, while the 12% ABV provides a warming alcohol backbone without harshness.

◑ Abgang

The finish is long and luxurious, with lingering notes of espresso, dark chocolate, and molasses that evolve slowly on the palate. A subtle warming alcohol presence remains, creating a sophisticated and contemplative conclusion.
