Bridge Brew Works was co-founded by Nate Harrold and Ken Linch in Fayetteville, West Virginia, with commercial brewing beginning in January 2010. The brewery takes its name from the iconic New River Gorge Bridge and is located near the New River Gorge National Park, a few minutes outside of downtown Fayetteville. For its first five years, Bridge Brew Works operated as a pure production brewery selling only kegs, with no public taproom or tasting room. The brewery later added a public tasting room, bringing craft beer directly to visitors exploring one of West Virginia's premier outdoor recreation destinations.
