Libertas brews in Úvaly, and the Akciový in its name is a promise: from 2015 on, the idea was a brewery with a community of shareholder owners. Head brewer Robert Franěk (in the trade since 1990, trained maltster) leads two worlds here: Czech lagers from floor-malted Ferdinand malt and Žatec hops, and world styles with Dutch Swaen malts and hops from many countries, up to a barley wine of 24 degrees. In the taproom guests can watch the brewhouse through a panoramic window.
