Wildshut Hopfenherz

Tap to rate

Hoppy and grassy on the nose with fresh citrus; the body is lean, with a fine, herbal bitterness. Hopfenherz belongs to the year-round fresh range of Stiegl-Gut Wildshut, alongside Malzreigen and Sortenspiel. It is brewed in Austria’s first all-timber brewery, where the master brewer sets up a batch every week, with water from the estate’s own well: 150 metres down it taps pure water that has been protected for 12,000 years.
