Vormanns Vorder

Tap to rate

Vormanns Vorder is a malt-aromatic beer brewed entirely with dark Munich malt and refined with Tettnang aroma hops. It is made from the first wort only and given three months of cold secondary fermentation. Tasters find malt in aroma and taste, joined by caramel. It is brewed by Vormann Privat-Brauerei, the family brewery on the Braugasse in Hagen-Dahl, where Eduard Vormann settled in 1877, and sold directly from the brewery alongside its other beers.

What is a Lager?

Euro Pale Lagers are clean, refreshing lagers with 4–5.5% ABV and IBU 10–25. Soft malt sweetness, light hop bitterness and high carbonation make them supremely drinkable.

hopIQ matches by flavor profile — not just style label. A beer with the same malty, caramel, smooth-drinking character as Vormanns Vorder will score highly even if brewed in a different country or under a different sub-style name.
