Cleric's Cure

Tap to rate

Medium malty sweetness meets a powerful bitterness and hop character, spicy and floral, in a light tan beer at 5.0 %. It was designed to re-create the India Pale Ales of the 19th century. The beer comes from Bishop's Castle, where brewing on the Three Tuns site was licensed in 1642 and a small tower brewery from the late 19th century still stands.

Serve at 8–11°C

Serve well-chilled. Session IPAs are at their best cold — the lower ABV means less warmth to balance the hops.

Tulip glass

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.

Drink fresh. Session IPAs are brewed to be consumed young — the hops are at their best now.
