The nose brings dark chocolate, fresh espresso and roasted grain, and the palate follows with bold chocolate malt, a coffee-bean note, hazelnut and a touch of dried cherry. Herkules and Saaz hops add an earthy counterpoint. The body is light to medium, and the finish turns crisp and dry with a faint hint of smoke.
