Skye Red
Nutty and malty on the nose, malty and fruity on the palate, with a smooth nuttiness and a dry, bittersweet aftertaste. Three malt varieties, pale ale, crystal and roast, are milled in the brewery itself and give this 4.2% ale its deep copper colour. Challenger and Fuggle hops keep the richness in balance. Named after the Red Cuillin mountains, it was the very first beer the Skye brewers made.
