Rosa

◎ Appearance

Rosa presents a hazy golden-orange body with soft, diffuse light refraction characteristic of the New England style. The dense, pillowy head forms quickly and clings persistently to the glass walls, leaving thick bands of lacing as the beer is consumed. Carbonation appears moderate, with fine bubbles sustaining the creamy foam structure throughout.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with bright citrus and tropical stone fruit—orange zest, peach, and mango—layered over a pronounced piney and dank earthiness from the five-hop combination. Beneath the hop-forward profile lies subtle herbal spice and a clean, neutral malt backbone that allows the Simcoe, Galaxy, Mosaic, Citra, and Ekuanot to dominate. There is no yeast-driven fruitiness; the fruit character stems entirely from the hops' volatile oils.

◐ Taste

The entry is juicy and resinous, with immediate citrus and tropical flavors supported by a creamy, full-bodied malt sweetness that balances without cloying. Mid-palate shows layered bitterness—not aggressive, but persistent and integrated—alongside continued pine and herbal notes. The finish transitions toward a dry, slightly sticky coating, with lingering herbal bitterness and orange pith.

◑ Finish

The aftertaste is medium-length, drying progressively as herbal and piney notes fade into a light citrus tang. A subtle stickiness persists on the palate, characteristic of the hop-saturated New England method.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
