◎ Appearance

Bright golden-amber hue with excellent clarity and a fine, persistent head that leaves crisp lacing down the glass. The carbonation is lively and well-integrated, creating a vibrant, almost jewel-like presence in the glass. This is a visibly dry beer with no haze or suspended matter.

◌ Aroma

The nose is immediately assertive with citrus forward—lemon zest and grapefruit pith dominate, backed by bright floral and herbal notes from the Edelhopfen blend. Underneath runs a gentle spicy character and a resinous backbone that speaks to quality hop definition. Subtle malt backbone offers only a whisper of breadiness; this is unambiguously a hop-driven profile.

◐ Taste

Entry is clean and crisp with citrus impact—Citra and Amarillo deliver bright, tropical stone-fruit notes alongside a peppery spice. The mid-palate builds into the promised 68 IBU bitterness, which arrives as a structured, dry bite rather than harsh astringency, allowing tropical and resinous character to persist. Malz presence is restrained but provides necessary body and a slight bready sweetness that frames the hops without softening them.

◑ Finish

The finish is medium-length with a lingering dry bitterness that fades gracefully into residual citrus zest and herb. No cloying sweetness; the beer closes clean and leaves the palate ready for another sip.

Serve well-chilled. Session IPAs are at their best cold — the lower ABV means less warmth to balance the hops.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
