◎ Appearance

Deep golden hue with bright clarity, displaying the characteristic pale amber tones of a well-crafted IPA. A robust, creamy head forms on the pour and maintains excellent lacing down the glass. The unfiltered character is evident in fine suspended particles that catch the light, giving the beer a living, dynamic appearance.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with prominent citrus notes—lime and grapefruit from the Citra and Cascade hops—followed by layered tropical fruit character suggesting mango and passionfruit. Pine resin and herbal undertones emerge from the Centennial, while a subtle bready sweetness from the barley and rye malt base provides grounding. The oat flakes contribute a soft, grainy backdrop without dominating.

◐ Taste

The palate opens full-bodied and juicy, with immediate tropical and citrus intensity that coats the mouth. The 65 IBU bitterness strikes firmly but never harshly, balancing the malt sweetness and creating a dynamic tension. Mid-palate maintains weight and complexity from the rye and oat adjuncts, while hop bitterness builds steadily toward the finish.

◑ Finish

The finish is long and clean, with lingering hop bitterness and pine notes that fade gradually. A dry, slightly herbal aftertaste persists, inviting another sip without becoming astringent or cloying.

Serve at 8–11°C

Serve well-chilled. Session IPAs are at their best cold — the lower ABV means less warmth to balance the hops.

Tulip glass

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.

Drink fresh. Session IPAs are brewed to be consumed young — the hops are at their best now.
