Ostroff

Tap to rate

A semi-dark, bottom-fermented lager in which caramel notes from the malts are joined by a medium hop bitterness. Ostroff came about in cooperation with Hotel Ostrov and stands beside the pale Světák and the dark Dittrich as part of the brewery's permanent lager trio, brewed at twelve degrees and sent out unfiltered and unpasteurized.

◐ Taste

Entry is soft and malty, with caramel sweetness as the dominant thread through the mid-palate. A medium bitterness arrives gradually, balancing the malt's residual sweetness without overwhelming it. The overall impression is clean and harmonious, with hop bitterness providing structure rather than dominance.
