Leon Beer
Cyprus's first beer, first brewed in 1937 and relaunched in 2003 on the original all-malt recipe of barley malt, hops and yeast. Two malts, a lager malt and a dark roasted malt, give it a malty character, German hops add a distinct bitterness, and an exclusive yeast blend produces esters that read as a fruity aroma and flavour. Honey-golden in the glass, 4.5 % ABV, with a pleasant aftertaste.
