Palm Royale
Palm Royale is a Belgian ale of 7.5 %. Fruity esters of banana and apple lead the aroma; on the palate caramel, vanilla and rich, dry malts join in on a full, smooth, almost creamy body. A slight nuttiness and gentle warmth run through the long, dryish finish. Palm first brewed it in 2003 for the 90th birthday of Alfred Van Roy, one of the brewery's founding owners, and kept it as a permanent part of the range.
