Otter Ale

Tap to rate

Malty, with hints of fruit, cherry and spice, a sweet-bitter balance and a dry finish that closes on fruit and some bitterness; sherry, woody and winey tones add depth under the mahogany colour. Otter Ale is where the brewery began. Once Heavitree Brewery put it in its pubs in 2001 it made its mark around Exeter and South Devon, and it has since turned up at festivals such as Glastonbury.
