Double Broken Heels

Tap to rate

Hazy Double IPA at 9.2% ABV with huge citrus and rich tropicals and a big mouthfeel. Oats go into the recipe, and a mix of favorite American hops including Citra and Mosaic does the hopping. After plenty of fans demanded its return, it joined New Trail's year-round Essentials lineup in September 2021.

◐ Taste

Full-bodied entry with generous tropical fruit and juicy citrus that coat the palate. Mid-palate reveals layered stone fruit and melon sweetness, balanced against 50 IBU of measured bitterness that remains herbaceous rather than harsh. Oats contribute subtle creaminess and mouthfeel without adding sweetness.
