Swizzle

Tap to rate

In Victorian slang, to swizzle meant to indulge in a small beer, and at 3 percent Swizzle is one. It is very pale and slightly hazy, brewed from lager malt with a large share of wheat, fermented with the same expressive yeast as Gigglemug and dry-hopped with Azacca. Mango, papaya, peach and guava come through over citrus notes of grapefruit and lemon. It is sold as a London Light Ale.

◐ Taste

The palate is light and crisp, with tropical and stone fruit flavors mirroring the aroma in the entry and mid-palate. A balanced bitterness from the 40 IBUs provides structure without harshness, integrating cleanly with the fruit-forward character. The low alcohol weight keeps the beer refreshing and easy-drinking, with a subtle wheaten sweetness that complements rather than overwhelms the hop expression.
