Deep brown to nearly opaque black, with a reddish undertone visible at the edges when held to light. A dense, tan head forms and clings to the glass with persistent lacing. Carbonation is moderate and well-integrated, creating a creamy visual texture that suits the style.

◌ Aroma

Roasted malt and dark chocolate dominate the nose, with pronounced coffee grounds and a subtle earthiness underneath. Hawaiian vanilla emerges as a soft, warming note—neither perfumed nor artificial, but integrated into the roasted frame. A whisper of hazelnut and cocoa nibs rounds out the bouquet.

The palate enters with full-bodied chocolate and roasted grain, medium bitterness from 45 IBU providing structure without harshness. Vanilla develops in the mid-palate, adding a creamy sweetness that softens the edges of the roasted character. The finish carries chocolate and coffee forward with a subtle nuttiness, supported by malty richness.
