◎ Appearance

Satanás JR. presents a pale golden hue with excellent clarity and bright, lively carbonation evident throughout the glass. The head forms quickly and clings to the glass with persistent lacing, leaving distinct rings as you drink. The overall visual impression is clean and inviting, befitting the beer's assertive character.

◌ Aroma

The nose is dominated by resinous, piney hop character with pronounced citrus notes—grapefruit and tangerine—layered throughout. Underneath, a subtle malt sweetness provides structure, while the elevated alcohol warmth is noticeable but not intrusive. The aromatic profile is complex and forward-facing, announcing the beer's intensity from the first approach.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with an immediate hop punch—bitter, resinous, and full-bodied. Citrus flavors develop in the mid-palate, balancing the aggressive bitterness with a bright, almost herbal complexity. The 10% ABV contributes warming notes that integrate into the overall profile rather than dominating, while the 90 IBU lingering bitterness asserts itself persistently through the finish.

◑ Finish

The finish is long and dry, with resinous bitterness persisting well into the aftertaste. Alcohol warmth remains present without harshness, leaving a clean, slightly peppery impression on the palate.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
