◎ Appearance

Jewel presents a pale golden hue with excellent clarity and bright, light transmission. A compact white head forms readily and maintains solid retention, leaving fine lacing on the glass. Carbonation is assertive and well-integrated, creating a lively visual presence throughout the pour.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with vibrant citrus oils—bright lime and tangerine—lifted by the characteristic herbal-pine snap of Simcoe. Candied citrus notes emerge underneath, complemented by subtle honeyed sweetness and a delicate stone fruit quality reminiscent of nectarine. The Citra and CTZ hops work together to create a crisp, modern aromatic profile without harshness.

◐ Taste

Entry is clean and bright, with candied citrus and peach flavors presenting immediately on the palate. The mid-palate reveals a rounded, honey-forward character that balances the assertive bitterness without overwhelming it. At 60 IBUs, the bitterness is satisfying and structured rather than aggressive, allowing the fruity and sweet elements to remain articulate through the swallow.

◑ Finish

The finish is clean and moderately lingering, with citrus bite and subtle honey fading gradually. A light, crisp dryness resolves the palate, leaving a pleasant herbal-bitter aftertaste without astringency.
