HooDoo Vanilla Porter
Vanilla, chocolate and caramel lead, with a characterful nuttiness from the English ale yeast and a light roastiness and a whisper of it in the finish. Maris Otter and seven specialty malts from England, Belgium and the US form the base; after fermentation the beer ages on Madagascar vanilla beans. 6.1% ABV, 20 IBU, made for a Fairbanks winter.
