Hoegaarden Citrus

◎ Appearance

Pours a very pale straw color with exceptional haziness throughout, characteristic of the fruit wheat ale style. The head forms quickly but settles to a thin collar with modest lacing. Fine carbonation creates a delicate, ephemeral mousse that fades steadily.

◌ Aroma

The nose is dominated by bright citrus notes—lemon and lime occupy the foreground with immediate aromatic presence. Beneath the citrus lies a subtle sugary sweetness from the fruit infusion, accompanied by delicate wheat and barely perceptible floral undertones that add complexity without demanding attention.

◐ Taste

Entry is crisp and refreshing, with citrus flavors establishing themselves quickly across the palate. The mid-palate shows balanced wheat character softened by the fruit's natural sugars, while a light tart finish emerges from the lime component. At 3% ABV, the beer remains light and smooth, allowing the lemon to carry much of the flavor work without heaviness.

◑ Finish

The finish is short and clean, with lingering citrus notes fading quickly into a dry, refreshing aftertaste. No astringency remains—only a gentle tartness and the memory of lemon zest.
