Deep black with a ruby glow at the edges when held to light, revealing the translucent character typical of the Schwarzbier style. A modest tan head forms and recedes quickly, leaving thin lacing on the glass. The beer presents clear and bright despite its dark colour, with fine carbonation visible throughout.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with roasted coffee and dark grain, grounded in a subtle caramel sweetness. A light toasted edge runs through, giving way to clean lager character with no fermentation esters or sulphur. The overall impression is malt-forward and straightforward, inviting rather than assertive.

◐ Taste

Entry is smooth and dry, with roasted malt flavours unfolding across the mid-palate alongside notes of toasted grain and caramel complexity. Moderate bitterness arrives cleanly without harshness, balancing the malt sweetness and sustaining the dry impression. The body remains light and crisp despite the dark character, making the beer dangerously easy to drink.

The aftertaste is short and clean, fading to a dry, slightly bitter edge with lingering roast notes. No sweetness or heaviness remains.
