The nose opens with pronounced caramel and toffee sweetness, supported by subtle smoke from the Icelandic barley's traditional kilning. There's an intriguing herbal note from the native angelica that adds complexity beneath the malt-forward profile. The aromatics promise a balanced, character-driven experience.

Entry is sweet with dominant caramel, toffee, and molasses character that fully develops across the mid-palate. Dark fruit notes and bread crust nuance emerge, creating sophisticated depth despite the restrained 25 IBU bitterness. The 8% ABV provides warming alcohol that integrates seamlessly rather than burning.
