Pure Blonde appeared in 2004 as the first Australian lager brewed with an extended fermentation that breaks down most of the residual sugar. Pale malt leaves only a light grain sweetness, Pride of Ringwood hops carry the bitterness and Hersbrucker added to the kettle brings a green, herbal aroma with moderate floral and fruity notes. Bright gold with subdued foam, light in malt character, smooth and crisp at the finish.
