hopIQ found 10 beers that share Oude's sour and oaky character. A blend of wild ales aged one to four years: over a third of it spent four years in 500-litre oak puncheons, about half is a one-year-old beer that brings freshness, herbal and floral qualities, and a two-year-old beer bridges old and young. The brewery calls the result characterful and complex. Bottles of the 2021 vintage show apricot, funk, a clean sourness and wood. A 6.7 % wild ale from Den Helder.
