Beers similar to Blackcurrant Sorbet
hopIQ found 10 beers that share Blackcurrant Sorbet's fruity and sour character. Blackcurrant brings a sour, slightly tart taste that turns sweet in ripe fruit, plus a pleasantly aromatic character, on a light wheat sour ale. So much blackcurrant purée goes in that the beer turns an unusual purple, a colour rare in beer. Barley and wheat malts, oat flakes and lactose make up the base.
