Hoppy and clearly bitter: this premium pale lager gets its character from about twelve freshly picked cones of Žatecký poloraný červeňák in every half-litre, grown in the Tršice area of Moravia and boiled straight into the brew. The bitterness is distinct and hop-driven. It is a fresh-harvest beer, and the brewery also makes a stronger fresh-hop sibling, Chmelnice 14°.
