Cold-fermenting lager yeast and a long lagering period near freezing shape it, and Hallertau Perle and Tradition are its only hops. Deep golden with a light opal haze and a fine-bubbled head, it smells of fresh bread, caramel and a faint herbal note. The palate is soft, with gentle malt sweetness, ripe apple and a touch of honey, and the finish turns dry with only a restrained bitterness.
