Beers similar to India Dark Ale

Black IPA·Switzerland·6.5% ABV·One of 44 Black IPAs in hopIQ·

hopIQ found 10 beers that share India Dark Ale's roasted and hoppy character. A dark take on the IPA: pleasant roasted aromas and bitterness with spicy hops, balanced so that the dark malt stays restrained and the colour turns dark brown rather than black. Vienna, Munich, caramel and roasted malts meet Citra, Cascade and Amarillo hops, 6.5 % ABV from a 16.5° Plato wort. Poured since December 2014.
