Beers similar to Hammer Cherry

hopIQ found 10 beers with the same sour and fruity character as Hammer Cherry. A sour ale soured with lactobacilli, which give it a delicate tart note. Black cherries are added during fermentation and bring a characteristic sweetness along with the intense red colour. The body is slender despite 7%, and hop bitterness plays almost no part, so the cherry and the mild acidity define the beer. Ranked by flavour match rather than popularity.
