This bottom-fermented bock, brewed to 16.3 °P, uses special and caramel malts and only light hopping. It pours orange-gold with a creamy bead. The nose shows pear, set in warming alcohol with a touch of vanilla and marzipan. On the palate a fine malt sweetness and caramel lead into a soft malt body. For its strength it stays comparatively lean, and a long, lively and gently bitter finish closes the beer.
